Angie & Nate were the first wedding of
the season -- the day before Mothers’
Day. Early morning fog dewed the garden but Angie was not discouraged. At 1:30pm the clouds parted, the fog rolled away and the sun came out. It was a beautiful afternoon and evening with a full moon rising over the ocean for the newly-weds. And as the last guests were leaving, the fog rolled back in. Blessed is the bride that the sun shines on, indeed. But Angie and Nate had earned that smile from Mother Nature. This lovely young couple had generously donated their rentals, tables, chairs, couches, etc and their wonderful floral arrangements to the Mothers’ Day Tea that we were hosting the following day
to raise money for Operation Dreamseed
which brings school supplies to children
in Afghanistan.

Our Mothers’ Day event looked as lovely
as Angie & Nate’s because of their thoughtfulness. Nice to think that the greatest of all mothers, Mother Nature, was making sure the sun shone on these two as a Thank You for a gracious gift.
